Bethy’s first communion ceremony was this Saturday, May 3rd. She was quite pleased with the whole thing. I was impressed with how she took everything right down the middle. What I mean is, she didn’t take the whole thing so seriously that she was freaking out at every little thing, but she also did not take it lightly. Bethy is really growing up emotionally, and it’s just wonderful to watch.

I want to thank Ashley (sp?) for bringing and decorating the cake, and other help while I fixed furniture so people could have a place to sit.

Thank you Mel, for bringing drinks and snacks that I was down to the last-minute wire trying to get. All I had to do because of you was go get ice. (I also bought a lotto ticket, but that didn’t work out.)

Thanks everyone for coming to the ceremony and for your company at our house afterwards. We all had a great time. I hope you liked the soup.
